MJH has submitted a planning application for renovation works to one of Southsea seafront’s most prominent residential buildings. St Martins House is one of the most striking buildings in the Southsea Seafront Conservation Area. The concrete framed ten-storey block, with its distinctive white painted finish, dates from the 1960s and is one of the best examples of residential modernism in the south of England. The new works will feature replacement balustrades that will be sympathetic to the modular elements of the existing elevation.
