We are delighted to have secured planning approval from Guildford Borough Council for a stunning contemporary extension and alterations to a period property in the heart of the Surrey Green Belt. Working closely with our client and the planning case officer, we have helped to realise our client’s dream scheme. The original part of the house dates from the 18^th century with piecemeal additions since its completion. Our scheme will tie all parts of the existing house and the new extensions into a uniform design with a consistent and modern material palette that is sympathetic to its historical background. The design has also been carefully considered to ensure the additional 80 sqm of floor area - that is vital to the scheme - would comply with the strict planning requirements of the Green Belt.

Works will be starting on site later this month and we look forward to following the progress from dream to reality.
